J52

The J52 is an axial-flow turbojet engine that was originally built by Pratt & Whitney for the Hound Dog Missile in the late 1950’s. Its maximum thrust is 11,200 lbf. The engine also powered the A-6 Intruder and it is still in use today in the A-4 Skyhawk and EA-6B Prowler.
