KC-135 STRATOTANKER

The KC-135 Stratotanker is an aerial refueling aircraft. It was originally intended to refuel strategic bombers, but during the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm, it was also used to augment the range of tactical fighters and bombers. The KC-135 requires a crew of 4: a pilot, copilot, navigator, and boom operator.

The KC-135 Stratotanker was manufactured by Boeing and it was first introduced to the field in 1957. Depending on fuel storage, it can accommodate up to 83,000 pounds of cargo, as well. The KC-135 has been in continuous use by the U.S. Air Force for over 50 years and there more than 10 variants, like the KC-135A, NKC-135A, KC-135E, and NKC-135E.
