T700

The T700 is a turboshaft engine designed in the late 1960’s for the U.S. Army’s next-generation utility helicopter. It was manufactured by General Electric Aviation and it was first introduced in 1978. Platforms that utilize the T700 include the AH-64 Apache, UH-60 Black Hawk, SH-60 Seahawk, and AH-1W SuperCobra.
