C-130 HERCULES

The C-130 Hercules is a four-engine turboprop transport aircraft that can take off and land on unprepared and rough, dirt strips. It was originally intended to transport troops and other cargo, but it has also been used for airborne assault, search and rescue, and much more. The C-130 requires at least a crew of four: two pilots, a flight engineer and a loadmaster.

The C-130 Hercules was manufactured by Lockheed, now Lockheed Martin, and it was first introduced in 1957. It can carry up to 92 troops or 64 paratroops. There are over 40 models and variants of the C-130 that are used by more than 60 nations. The aircraft has been in continuous use by the U.S. Air Force for over 50 years.
