F100

The F100 is an afterburning turbofan engine capable of 17,800 lbf of thrust (29,160 lbf with afterburner). It was manufactured by Pratt & Whitney in the 1970’s. The F100 powers all of the U.S. Air Force’s F-15 Eagles and the majority of the F-16 Fighting Falcons throughout the world.
