M60 PATTON
The M60 Patton is a first-generation battle tank that was extensively utilized by the United States and its Cold War allies. It was intended to meet the challenges raised by the Soviet introduction of the T-54 and T-55 medium tanks. The Patton has seen action in such conflicts as the Six Day War, Yom Kippur War, Iran-Iraq War, and Operation Desert Storm. Its primary armament is a 105 mm M68 gun and 152 mm M162 gun/launcher, and it also possesses a .50 caliber M85 and a .30 caliber M73 machine gun.
The M60 Patton was manufactured by Chrysler and entered service in 1961. Variants of the Patton are the M60 A1, M60 A2 Starship, and M60 A3. It boasts a crew of 4, has an operational range of 300 miles, and is capable of traveling at a speed of 30 mph.
